Why You want to Join MYC:
- Economical - Meals are provided at many cruises and meetings, and the value of those meals can quickly offset the cost of the initiation fee and dues. Click here for the nitty gritty on initiation and dues.
- Fun! - Most cruises include activities such as a scavenger hunt, cornhole tournament or Dinghy Drift Happy Hour.
- Reciprocals – We have agreements which allow us to tie up at the docks of 50+ yacht clubs at a discounted rate. Great savings potential! Click here to see our list of reciprocals.
- Year Round Activities – We have several cruises each month plus monthly general meetings, “land cruises,” and wonderful parties. Click here to see our calendar.
- Safety & Education – Cruise captains bring an AED (automated external defribillator) on each cruise. Safety and health topics are regularly featured at our general meetings.
- Family Memberships – The initiation fee and dues covers the entire family: two spouses and any children under 18 years old.
- General Meetings – The club meets monthly, with speakers addressing topics such as cruising, safety, crabbing, education, destinations, and so on.
- Discount – Members receive a discount on membership from BoatUS.
- Friendship and Camaraderie
- Weekend Cruising – Short cruises are a perfect fit for busy families. New in 2026, we have added "sandwich" cruises so you can attend for a weekend or a long week.
- Cruising together – Boating to new destinations can be tricky. We cruise to locations such as Edmonds, Langley, Port Townsend, and Bell Harbor. To see the full cruise schedule, click here.
- A Cruising and Social Club - Boat ownership is not required to join MYC. We welcome sail boaters, power boaters, and the "boatless." All members have full privileges.
- An All-Volunteer Organization – "Many hands makes light work."
- Great Food – Our meetings start with social time at 6pm, followed by a potluck dinner at 6:30pm, and the program begins at 7pm. Click here to RSVP for a meeting.
- Book Club – Our book club meets monthly via Zoom.
